Wellness Tuesday: 9 Quick and Easy Breakfast Ideas
Last week, I shared why breakfast is important to eat.
So, what are some healthy options for breakfast?
If you’re like me you don’t have a lot of time to prepare a meal.
- Low-fat Yogurt—You can even make a smoothie if that is preferable
- Oatmeal—oatmeal is good for you because it is full of fiber. Add raisins and nuts for more fiber and protein.
- Fruits {Banana, Apple, Oranges, etc.}
- Omelets with healthy veggies
- Hard-boiled egg
- Whole wheat toast or muffins
- Whole Grain Cereal with skim or low-fat meat
- Healthy Breakfast bar
- Whole Grain Bagel with low-fat cream cheese
Some of these options you can even mix and match. Such as a banana and oatmeal. Or a hard-boiled egg and yogurt smoothie.
What is your favorite go to breakfast?
